REPORTS

Tillery come up short despite second half fightback

cut down the Tigers

Tillery failed to continue their winning start to the season as they were narrowly defeated by local rivals and early leaders Brynmawr.

The visitors opened up a 10-0 lead in the first half before two Tillery penalties narrowed the lead.

After Brynmawr added a second try to stretch their lead again, the home side got two second half tries through Kurtis Haile and Craig Meredith to close within two points and possible victory. But the visitors added a penalty to ensure the win.
